NotesHANGAR01

The design system

HANGAR01 is built like an instrument panel: dark first, zero radius everywhere, and no shadows. Depth comes from tonal layers and hairline borders. Inter sets everything people read, and IBM Plex Mono is used only for the values a pilot reads off an instrument, such as SET or FLEX/TOGA.

The two HANGAR01 typefaces: Parking Brake in Inter, and SET with other checklist values in IBM Plex Mono

Colour only carries meaning. Steel blue marks actions and active states, green marks what is done, amber marks caution and red marks errors.

HANGAR01's tonal layers, base, surface, raised and border, beside its four meaning colours: accent, success, warning and danger
Zero-radius components from the site: Return to Hangar, the theme and Contact buttons, Report Inaccuracy, the aircraft search and the mode toggle
One checklist item, Parking Brake SET, before and after it is ticked
The mode toggle with Normal selected and with Quick selected: Full 168, Normal 136, Quick 33
The A320neo aircraft card: a Jetstar A320neo photo, Airbus, FlyByWire and an MSFS badge
